The African Violet Guest Suites is a gem. The place is spotlessly clean, and the location is amazing - high on the hillside with breathtaking views. We got great local tips from the friendly and helpful hosts - Rob and Jennifer. And let me tell you - the spa bath is to die for!
Can't recommend highly enough.

It is a very relaxing and peaceful place. I liked the small private garden right outside our room
It is not the cleanest hotel I have ever seen in South Africa (which is a very clean place), but it is OK anyway

Everything was great, I appreciated spotless rooms. Its location was marvellous, 1 mile from Long Beach. The bathroom was clean and with bathtubs...

The view from the terrace was simply breathtaking, providing a perfect spot for a summer getaway. The infinity pool was also a highlight, allowing us to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. the fully equipped kitchen and underfloor heating were great conveniences that added to our overall comfort during our stay.
There were several disappointments during our visit. The fittings in the room were in need of fixing, and the spa bath smelled like rotten eggs and had black sludge coming out of the jets.

quiet residental area, a bit remote, nice to have possibility to cook, but for me it really wasn;t necessary. here lingered a rather strong smell of paint or chemical smell, couldn't quite register what it was but didn't feel real comfortable for me.
when I booked this hotel I did a search on hotels in Simons Town and got this place, but after I booked I realized it was a long way from SImons Town, and once given credit card info the amount was immediately deducted from my credit card without refund. I had to do extra driving which I really did not like and made me realize booking online on Booked.net I have to be much more careful as to what I get. This was a first for me that i had to pay immediately, and I have only experienced that with hostels and not hotels or b & B. location was not good for me. I felt it was like staying in someones basement, rather than a hotel or Guest House. Cutting down some of the plants infront of the room would be good to enjoy the fabulous views

Floor to ceiling windows allow guests to feast their eyes on the breathtaking panorama, which transforms into a twinkling fairyland at night. The morning sun appraisingly flushes the surrounding mountains, ancient oaks, and elegant entrance, creating a picturesque view. The luxury self-catering apartments are built high on the north facing slopes, offering stunning views of the Table Mountain Range and the distant Atlantic Ocean. Each apartment has a private entrance and outdoor sitting area with uninterrupted views of the magnificent Atlantic coastline and surrounding mountains. The north facing location is conveniently close to Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, Simon's Town, Kommetjie, Scarborough, and the Noordhoek valley. The False Bay area is truly an incredible place to see amazing marine wildlife and is a paradise for photographers. The private apartment at African Violet Guest Suites is set in a unique setting with its own entrance and outdoor area. The Loft apartment is a light-drenched space with sea and valley views. The communal rock pool, sun deck, and sun beds are all prepared for the delight and use of African Violet guests. The open plan living area opens onto a balau timber deck with panoramic views of the surrounding valley and mountains. The inviting spa bath provides a sparkling nightlight view across the valley.
Guests need to bring their own basic amenities as this is a self-catering apartment.

A very nice warm welcome, despite we arrived at 11.45 pm. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds and a jacuzzi. We had our own terrace with a private pool, which was nice and had great views over Noordhoek and to the Atlantic Ocean. I'm missing the sound of birds already. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back!

I recently stayed at African Violet in Noordhoek for a week-long vacation. The apartment offered stunning views and complete privacy. The cozy fireplace and incredibly comfortable bed made it feel like home. Communication with the hosts was easy via WhatsApp, and they even allowed us to drop off our luggage before check-in. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-decorated, with all the necessary appliances. The tips provided for nearby restaurants were excellent, and the pool and private deck were perfect for relaxation. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Cape Town.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
